This summer has come, and how the UV flatbed printer can be used normally in summer does not affect the daily printing and processing. Then you need to master the special maintenance skills in summer, with fewer equipment failures, so you can save more money and reduce additional maintenance costs.
Five ways to maintain UV flatbed printers in summer:
Method one, is temperature control.
The UV flatbed printer should be placed in a cool, backlit corner, and avoid high temperatures and direct sunlight. The suitable indoor temperature is 19℃~32℃, and the humidity is 25%~70%.
Method two, power off and moisturize.
When the UV flatbed printer is not working for a long time, you can choose to moisturize when the power is off, and don’t leave the machine in the standby state, so the temperature will rise.
Method 3: After turning on the UV flatbed printer, be sure to print a test strip first.
After turning on the UV flatbed printer every day, you must first hit a test strip to check whether the nozzle is blocked. The temperature is too high in summer and the ink is easy to dry.
Method four, cleaning the inside and outside of the equipment is hygienic.
On a weekly basis, cleaning the inside and outside of the equipment is hygienic, especially in key positions such as the head and guide rails. It is particularly important to keep it clean.
Method 5: The position of the flat line needs to be checked every day when the machine is turned on. Keep the surface clean and whether the connection is tight and not loose.
The position of the flat wire must be checked every day when the machine is turned on, and timely confirm whether the surface is clean and whether the connection is tight and not loose.
Main points of daily maintenance of UV flatbed printer:
1. Turn on the power
Confirm that the voltage turns on the main power switch, and confirm that the voltage stabilizer is 220V stable.
2. Power on the machine
Turn on the power of the machine, and then turn on the UV power.
3. Open the control software
Check whether the USB cable connected between the computer and the motherboard is plugged in, and then open the software. At this time, the software will automatically detect the movement of the device’s X, Y, and Z axes. Three “success” means that the device is operating normally.
4. Open the ink valve and confirm the negative pressure
Turn the ink valve to level to open the valve; then confirm whether the negative pressure is normal.
5. Press the ink and wipe the nozzle
Press the ink button for 2-3 seconds, you can press it several times, and then wipe the ink on the surface of the nozzle with a dust-free cloth.
6. Print head status
In the control software, determine the print height on the “Head Lift” page, set the print position on the “Print Control” page, and then click “Print Head Status”, and the machine will print.
7. Confirm that the nozzle is in good condition
Check the status of each nozzle. If there is no clogging of the nozzle, or if there is no oblique spray, it is in good condition. The nozzles that are printed every day must be kept in good condition. If the nozzle is in poor condition, it needs to be dealt with in time.
8. Production or standby
Through the above inspection and observation, the machine is in good condition and production can be carried out. If the machine needs to be on standby, please check the “flash spray” status.
