Action button tool description
① . X Reset (step reset): X (left and right) head (step motor) returns to the origin. When this button is clicked, the machine head returns to the right origin position.
② . Y Reset (rotation reset): Y (front and back) cylinder/cone (rotating motor) returns to the origin (Y origin is based on the Z phase of the internal encoder of the motor). Click this button to reset.
③ . Print (start printing): When there is an image file in the task list, click this button to print if it is selected (this button is only valid when manual mode is selected).
④ . Stop (stop printing): This button is only valid for stopping printing during printing, and it is invalid for stopping when manually moving. It is worth noting that, because it is printed on the spiral principle, the printing can only be stopped during the printing process and there is no pause function).
⑤. Nozzle Test (nozzle test print): click this button, and you can check the status of the nozzle for broken needles, needle deviation, and other problems (if these problems occur, it will affect the printing effect), the nozzle test chart, as shown in the figure:
⑥ . Left (to the left): The stepper motor moves to the left when clicked, and the distance depends on the set “moving length (mm)” parameter and the “motion mode” parameter; the stepper motor stops moving when clicked again.
⑦ . Right (to the right): When clicked, the stepper motor moves to the right (it cannot move at the X origin), and the distance to move depends on the “moving length (mm)” parameter and the “motion mode” parameter; when clicking again The stepper motor stops moving.
⑧ . Back (backward): When the motion mode is fixed length, the motor rotates backward by a certain length each time you click, and the distance it rotates depends on the “moving length (mm)” parameter; if the “motion mode” parameter is set to “Continuous”, click once, the rotating motor will continue to rotate backward without stopping, and the rotating motor will stop rotating when you click again.
⑨ . Front (forward): Each time you click, the rotating motor will rotate forward (the Y origin is based on the Z phase of the internal encoder of the motor), and the distance it rotates depends on the “moving length (mm)” parameter and the “motion mode” parameter. In the “continuous” motion mode, each time you click, the motor rotates forward one circle, and when you click again, the rotating motor stops moving; in the “fixed length” motion mode, each time you click, the motor rotates forward by the specified distance, the rotation motor will stop moving when clicked again.
⑩. Fire (flash spray): low-frequency flash spray. After starting up, you need to click this button to keep the nozzle flashing to prevent the nozzle from clogging. When printing or moving the machine head to the left, the software will automatically close. The flash spray frequency can be set according to your needs in “Setting (parameter setting) – cleaning control – moisturizing flash spray frequency”.
⑪ . Flash (strong flash spray): high-frequency flash spray, used according to the situation.
Print parameter setting instructions
The printing parameters are explained in two parts: motion parameter setting and control printing setting. When the printing mode is spiral or stepping, the individual parameters are different. The spiral mode has the option of high drop and its setting, and the stepping mode only has seam feathering without the option of high drop, the following figure is the interface for selecting different modes. To switch between different printing modes, you can switch in Settings – General Settings – Version Information – Printing Mode. After switching, click Apply and restart the software to take effect.
• Motion settings
Spiral printing mode interface Stepping printing mode interface
① . Moving length (mm): When it is necessary to move the X stepping motor (left and right direction) or the Y rotating motor (the motor that drives the cylindrical material to rotate)
The length to be set during motion, the motor will move as much as the parameter is set, but this parameter value is only valid when the motion mode is set to “fixed length”, and it is invalid when it is set to “continuous”.
②. Motion mode: This parameter is valid for manual movement and has nothing to do with printing. The parameters are divided into two options: “fixed length” and “continuous”. Click to switch. When it is set to “fixed length”, the software will move the motor to the set length according to the length set by the “moving length” parameter; when it is set to “continuous”, the motor will continue to move without stopping ( Click the direction button of the software again to stop running).
③. Movement speed: Set the movement speed and printing speed of the Y-axis rotating motor, and there are three speeds to choose from: low speed, medium speed, and high speed. Generally, high-speed gear is used the most.
• Control print settings
The following four types are described in detail:
④ . X white edge (mm): The printing position from 0 in the X direction. This parameter is based on the “printing border” parameter. The larger the parameter, the starting position of the image will shift to the left (if it has been set to 0 but the starting point is too far away Move to the right, you can increase the parameters in “Settings-General Settings-Material Settings-Print Border”).
a. Feather parameter setting
⑤ Feathering mode: There are two modes to choose from Gradient and Uniform. The faster time is faster for gradient printing and the effect is normal. The slower time for uniform printing is better.
⑥. Feathering level: Feathering is mainly used to modify the stripes caused by stepping in printing to improve printing quality. There are 4 options: no feathering (that is, turn off feathering), small feathering, medium feathering, and large feathering. The larger the feathering, the slower the speed and the better the transition effect.
⑦ Advanced: It is used to set feathering ink volume control, this parameter has little effect on the general printing effect, if checked, streaks and wire drawings will appear. It is mainly used in printing some images processed by white ink spot color to make the outline more three-dimensional and embossed.
b. Material diameter setting and motor parameter download
⑧. Material diameter: refers to the diameter of a cylinder or the diameter of the largest end of a cone.
⑨. Motor encoder: When the material diameter is changed, click the “Download” button under “Encoder” again, and the parameter box on the right side of “Encoder” will automatically convert the parameter value.
c. Cone printing parameter setting
⑩. Cone printing: This parameter is suitable for printing straight-faced cones with no height difference in conventional cones. If this option is checked, the software will print in cone mode, and the set relevant cone printing parameters will be valid; if it is not checked, the software will default to cylinder printing as valid, and the set cone parameters will be invalid.
⑪ . Cone Small End Diameter: The minimum diameter of the cone to be printed (the maximum diameter parameter of the cone is the same as the material diameter parameter).
⑫ . Cone length: Set the non-vertical length of the printed cone, as shown in the figure:
d. Automatic printing parameter setting and other settings
⑬ . Print quantity: Set the quantity that needs to be printed for the same image file. This parameter is set for the batch printing of multiple batches of the same task. If you use the manual mode to print, please set the print quantity to 1 considering that the discharge time is too late.
⑭ . Completed quantity: Display the current quantity of the same image file that has been printed.
⑮ . Manual mode: When this option is checked, it is manual mode; when it is not checked, it is automatic mode. If it is checked, you need to click “Print” on the software to print.
“Print” button; if this option is not checked, when the print button
is clicked, the software starts to enter the automatic printing ready state, and the print button becomes gray and unavailable at this time. To start printing, you need to click the ” One-key print” button, but the prerequisite is that the number of prints of the same image file is set to at least 2 (suitable for multiple consecutive prints). Select the same file, when starting to print the first one, you need to
First, remove the check mark and then click the print button to start printing. After the first material is printed and unloaded if the second material has been placed (it must be the same size as the first material), then click again Press the “one-key print” button, and the printer will continue to print the second one (the premise is that the material is loaded first), so the third, fourth, fifth…, the same operation until the set printing quantity is printed, at this time “One-key print” is invalid,
To take effect, you need to click the “Print” button again. It is worth noting that if the discharge time is over time (the discharge time can be set in the Settings-General Settings-Material Settings column), the software will report an error, and the set discharge time can be greater than the actual discharge time. Press the “One Key Print” button on the operation panel.
⑯ . High drop: When the printing mode is spiral, check this parameter to print bottles with the high drop on the surface, and the related settings can be modified
parameter to match for more precise printing. Click the button, and the image bar on the right side of the software will display the parameter settings related to the height difference. After setting, click “Confirm” to exit the interface, and click “Cancel” to exit and not save the set value. After setting the parameters, click “OK” to exit the high drop setting window, if you do not want to save, click “Cancel” to exit. The high drop setting interface is shown in the figure below:
a. Number of sampling points: The number of sampling points is the number of nodes. Each segment is used as a sampling point (serial number). The more points are in places with the large taper and radian drops, the more accurate the printing effect of the high drop is. There are 8, 16, 24, and 32 There are four options, and the maximum number of sampling points is 32 points. If there are not many sampling points, it is not necessary to select the one with more sampling points, so that the interface looks simpler.
It is worth mentioning that, when sampling points if a segment is not a curved surface but straight, it is generally treated as a segment; if the segment position
If it is in the first segment, then there are two settings for the length of serial number 1-2: if the diameter between two points in the first segment is the same, generally only one sampling point is processed; if the diameter between two points The diameters of different samples are generally treated as two sampling points. The first method is only set according to the length of sampling point 1 (serial number 1): the length of the first sampling point (serial number 1) is set to the horizontal length of the first segment; the second is based on 2 sampling points (serial number 1 and serial number 2) length setting method during processing: the length of the first sampling point (serial number 1) is set to 0, the length of the second sampling point (serial number 2) is set to the level between sampling point 1 and sampling point 2 lengths.
Take the following bottle with a high drop shape as an example. Except for the bottle mouth that is not printed, the other parts are used as the printing area. Assume that the sampling points are divided into 8 subsections.
Taking the bottom of the bottle as the starting point for printing, the first section of the bottle is straight and has no curved surface, so it is treated as one sampling point. Here, the horizontal area is used as the first section, that is, number 1, and the high drop section is divided into 7 1 segments, 7 sampling points, namely serial numbers 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, as shown in the following figure:
b. Cone printing: If the bottle to be printed is in the shape of a cone as a whole and has a local height difference, one end is large and the other end is small, it is generally necessary to install it obliquely when clamping (the inclination angle needs to be input). In this case, it is not necessary to check the “cone Print” option. If there is no high drop on the surface but a flat cone, please use cone printing (the cone printing mentioned here is not the cone printing option in the high drop).
c. Inclination angle: If the bottle to be printed needs to be installed obliquely on the fixture (generally when the bottle is in the shape of a cone as a whole), the inclination angle needs to be set. If the bottle to be printed does not need to be installed obliquely but placed horizontally on the fixture (generally when the bottle as a whole is cylindrical and non-cone), set the inclination angle to 0.
d. Save parameters: Save the currently set and determined parameters as a file (the suffix is otl), which is convenient for direct calling next time without resetting.
e. Load parameters: load in the previously determined parameter file (the suffix is otl), no need to repeatedly input data.
f. Serial number: the serial number of the sampling point (segment). Serial number 1 is counted from the direction of the printing starting point. For example, put the bottom of the bottle toward the printing starting point when discharging, then serial number 1 corresponds to counting from the right side of the bottle, not from the bottle mouth.
g. Length: The length between two sampling points (segmentation), theoretically supports unlimited maximum length.
h. Diameter: the diameter of a certain sampling point, the maximum supported value is 200mm. The maximum diameter of the high drop setting must be consistent with the material diameter of the printing setting.
i. Visual chart: Visualize the input data (length, diameter) through the chart, that is, visually display the data in the form of a chart, which helps us understand quickly and accurately to prevent mistakes so that we can intuitively and roughly judge whether the input data is consistent with the physical object The shapes are similar, and the function of the chart is only for viewing and cannot be changed. If the data changes, the chart will also change accordingly. The abscissa shows the length of the bottle, and the ordinate shows the radius of the bottle (but the length input box cannot input the radius of the bottle but the diameter).
⑰ . Seam feathering: When the printing mode is stepping, check this parameter to perform feathering processing on the splicing part of the printed full-circle image to achieve a seamless splicing effect.
