UV flatbed printer is also called UV flatbed printer or flatbed printer. It breaks through the bottleneck of digital printing technology. It is a high-tech, plate-free full-color digital printing machine, which realizes the true meaning of one-sheet printing, no plate-making, and full-color. The image is done in one go. It is not restricted by any material and can be printed on metal, glass, leather, ceramics, wood, bamboo, cloth, T-shirts, plastics, silicone, MDF, PVC, acrylic, advertising materials, and other high-quality and high-demand printing materials. demand. Micolorprint UV flatbed printer can complete printing in one time, with beautiful and rich colors, abrasion resistance, UV protection, simple and convenient operation, and fast image printing speed. Here are a few common failures that flatbed printers often see in daily use.
The head of the UV flatbed printer is clogged:
Most of the causes of the clogging of the heads of UV flatbed printers are due to the precipitation of impurities; part of the reason is that the ink is too acidic and corrodes the heads. If it is because the printer has not been used for a long time or the addition of non-original ink causes the ink delivery system to become obstructed or the heads are clogged, it is best to clean the heads. If washing with water does not solve the problem, you can only remove the head, soak it in pure water at about 50-60°C, clean it with an ultrasonic cleaner, and dry it before use. The failure of the cleaning pump head of the UV flatbed printer is also the main cause of the plug. Cleaning the pump head plays a decisive role in the protection of the printer head. After the carriage is returned, the head should be cleaned and the head should be weakly pumped to seal and protect the head. When a new ink cartridge is installed in the machine or the head is disconnected, the suction pump at the lower end of the machine must pump air to the head. The higher the working accuracy of the suction pump, the better. In actual operation, the performance and airtightness of the suction pump will decrease as time goes by and the residual solidification of dust and ink in the head increases. If the user does not check or clean it frequently, it will cause the head of the flatbed printer to continue to malfunction like a plug, so the suction pump must be maintained frequently. The specific method is to remove the upper cover of the UV printer and remove the trolley and use a needle tube to suck in pure water to rinse it, especially the microporous gasket embedded in the mouth. It should be noted that when cleaning this component, ethanol or methanol must not be used, as this will cause the microporous gasket embedded in this component to dissolve and deform. At the same time, the lubricating oil should not be allowed to touch the pump nozzle, because the grease will deform the rubber sealing ring of the pump head and cannot seal and protect the head.
The flatbed printer slows down:
After the continuous ink supply system is modified, the original ink cartridges are often modified, and this modification will inevitably cause the burden of the type car. In the case of excessive load, the carriage will move slowly, and the accelerated aging of the belt and the friction between the carriage and the connecting rod will increase. In severe cases, the font car cannot be reset and then cannot be used.

To solve this problem, it is best to start from three aspects:
a. Replace the motor
The rubber tube of the continuous ink supply system of the flatbed printer rubs against the wall of the UV printer, which causes the load of the electric motor to increase, and the loss of long-term use of the electric motor is great. Replacement of a new motor can solve the problem;
b. Lubricate the connecting rod
After the printer has been used for a long time, the friction between the carriage and the connecting rod in the machine becomes larger, and the increase in resistance causes the electric motor to run slowly. Lubricating the connecting rod can solve the problem;
c. Reduce belt aging speed
The friction of the driving gear connected with the motor will increase and accelerate the belt aging of the UV flatbed printer. Cleaning and lubricating the driving gear can reduce the failure of belt aging.
The UV flatbed printer cannot recognize the ink cartridge:
Users may often encounter this situation when using a continuous ink supply: After a period of time, the flatbed printer cannot recognize the black ink cartridge and stops printing. The main reason for this situation is that the waste ink tank of the flatbed printer is full. Because the waste ink is easily formed during the use of the continuous ink supply system, it is easy to cause the waste ink tank to be full.
This situation can be dealt with in two ways:
One is to use the reset software to reset this UV flatbed printer motherboard to eliminate printer settings;
The second is to go to the maintenance point to replace the sponge in the waste ink tank.
However, the user is still recommended to use the second method, because if it is simply cleared, it is easy to cause waste ink to be missed and burn the flatbed printer. In fact, every UV printer’s accessories have a fixed life. When some accessories reach the end of their service life, the UV flatbed printer will prompt that it cannot print.
