Table Of Contents

1. Remember not to start the UV dtf printer too frequently.

Because the UV dtf printer is different from other printers, don’t let it start up too frequently. Every time you start it, the printer has to clean the print head and initialize the printer. Fill the ink delivery system. Of course, some ink is wasted. This is a drop of ink. A penny for ink” Ah!

2. Choose a suitable printing mode.

UV dtf printer provides several different printing modes, and the degree of ink consumption is different for different printing modes. If you are only printing ordinary documents, it is recommended that you use the “Economical Printing Mode” function, which can save half of the ink and greatly increase the printing speed. Of course, if you want to pursue print quality, you can only choose other print modes.

3. Learn to choose ink.

Generally, do not use non-original ink cartridges lightly, because most of the ink cartridges contain sponges. Non-original ink cartridges have a large amount of sponge elution, and the stainless steel filter used in the ink outlet does not meet the requirements, which can easily cause nozzle blockage.

4. When the ink cartridge is used for the first time, the UV dtf printer should be set to the saving state.

The number of sheets that the ink cartridge can print is variable, mainly depending on the print type you set when you first use it. If the ink cartridge is set to the photo mode when it is first installed, and actually only a few photos are printed, the program will often calculate more ink consumption; If it is set to save mode at the beginning, the program may under-calculate the ink consumption and show that there is ink remaining when the ink is actually used up.

5. Solve the color cast phenomenon.

If the color printed by your UV dtf printer is inconsistent with the color displayed on the screen, it means that there is a color cast phenomenon in the printing. Here to remind you that the main reason for this phenomenon is improper software settings, the printer driver version being too low, or users having made some improper settings in the printing software settings. If the above failure causes are eliminated, we should learn to calibrate the screen display and the actual printing effect. Different printing software has different specific correction methods. It is recommended that you open the printer option of common software when printing is normal, and record the settings at this time; when there are any problems in the future, you don’t have to bother to analyze it. The reason, the problem can be solved after easily restoring to the previous settings.

6. Keep the printer clean.

Regularly cleaning the print head and the printer’s interior will help prevent clogging and other issues. You can use a cleaning solution or distilled water for this purpose.

7. Use high-quality transfer paper.

The quality of the transfer paper you use will affect the final print quality. Choose transfer paper that is compatible with your UV dtf printer and provides good ink absorption and color reproduction.

8. Adjust the curing settings.

UV dtf printers use UV light to cure the ink after printing. It’s important to adjust the curing settings based on the type of substrate you’re printing on. If the curing time is too short, the ink may not adhere well to the substrate, while if it’s too long, it may cause the substrate to warp or discolor.

9. Store the ink properly.

UV dtf ink should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Make sure to seal the ink bottle tightly after each use to prevent evaporation and contamination.

10. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Finally, always refer to the manufacturer’s instructions when operating your UV dtf printer. Each printer model may have specific requirements and recommendations that you need to follow to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
