One, the composition of UV ink
The composition of UV ink is mainly composed of pigment (Pigment), quasi-polymer (Oligomer), monomer (Monomer), photoinitiator (Photoinitiator), sensitizer, and additive (Filler), etc. The traditional oxidant ink is composed of components such as vanillin and solvent. This determines that there are great differences in the characteristics of the two.

Two, the characteristics of UV ink
Generally speaking, there are 12 points:
1. No need to spray powder.
2. Dries immediately, but needs to be irradiated with an ultraviolet light source to dry.
3. No UV light will form a skin, so there will be no skinning in the ink tank.
4. The ink does not contain solvents.
5. It can print non-absorbent printed materials.
6. The ink film is uniform and has better friction resistance.
7. It will not dry on the printing machine or plate before irradiation.
8. It will change under high temperature and high humidity, and should be stored below 40°C.
9. It cannot be mixed with general ink.
10. Thinners and cleaning agents must be used exclusively for UV and cannot be confused with other cleaning agents.
11. UV ink is not universal for all materials, and its adhesion must be tested individually according to the different properties of the ink.
12. UV is a chemical line, and the wavelength required for ink drying must be close to the UV wavelength, the drying effect cannot be achieved.

The length of UV ink drying time is generally affected by the following factors:
1. The thickness of UV ink.
2. Different types of printed materials.
3. The speed of machine printing.
4. Type of UV reflector.
5. UV lamp intensity.
