Traditional ink printing takes a certain amount of time to dry. If this layer of powder is not sprayed, the ink on the paper will easily stick together, causing the entire print to be ruined.

If it is printed and sprayed with powder through normal procedures, it will take about a day to completely dry. Of course, some papers will have a shorter drying time. Traditional ink can only be printed on paper, not on plastic or other materials. On the contrary, UV ink can be printed on a wide variety of materials, so the price of UV ink is higher.
UV ink drying principle and application:
UV printing ink contains a reactant that reacts with ultraviolet light. During the printing process, the step of irradiating with ultraviolet light is added to make the ink dry instantly. After printing, the next step of processing or shipment can be carried out immediately. Therefore, the printed surface will be extremely smooth. UV ink has excellent adhesion properties on almost any material surface, such as polyethylene, vinyl materials, styrene, polycarbonate, glass, metal, etc. In addition, if you want to print on colored paper or materials, just add a layer of white ink on the surface, and you don’t have to worry about the printed color colliding with the color of the material. Therefore, the printing effect of UV ink is darker than that of traditional ink. Since UV printing speeds up the entire printing process, more and more people are using UV printing.
