Common UV Printer Negative Pressure Gauge Failures and Solutions
The common types of UV printer negative pressure gauge failures include: negative pressure loss, ±20 fluctuations, excessively high negative pressure that cannot be adjusted, and faulty negative pressure gauges. If your machine encounters these issues, you need to address them according to the specific failure to prevent secondary damage.
1. Negative Pressure Loss in UV Printer
A. Air tube leakage – Solution: Replace with a new air tube.
B. Abnormal power supply to the negative pressure pump – Solution: Check whether the circuit is shorted; if so, repair it promptly.
C. Damaged diaphragm in the negative pressure pump – Solution: Replace with a new negative pressure pump.
D. Electromagnetic valve closure failure – Solution: Replace with a new electromagnetic valve.
E. Ink pressure switch always on – Solution: Replace with a new ink pressure switch.
F. Ink pressure switch short-circuit – Solution: Replace with a new ink pressure switch.
Note: These parts are generally inexpensive, so in most cases, direct replacement is the easiest solution.
2. UV Printer Negative Pressure Gauge ±20 Fluctuation
A. Short circuit in the corresponding power supply box – Solution: Check the circuit and repair the shorted section.
B. Abnormal voltage in the corresponding power supply box – Solution: Check the circuit and repair the faulty part.
C. Faulty negative pressure gauge – Solution: Replace with a new negative pressure gauge.
3. Excessively High Negative Pressure on UV Printer Gauge (Cannot Adjust)
A. Blocked exhaust port of the adjustment valve – Solution: Clean thoroughly.
B. Pump speed too high – Solution: Lower the pump speed.
C. Air tube blockage – Solution: Replace with a new air tube.
4. UV Printer Negative Pressure Gauge Not Displaying
A. Poor electrical contact – Solution: Check which part of the circuit is shorted and repair it.
B. Faulty negative pressure gauge – Solution: Replace with a new gauge.
C. Voltage too low – Solution: Increase the negative pressure value.
